Axel Jansson is a London-based/Swedish-born singer and songwriter. He was first drawn to music when he started to explore his father’s record collection as a kid, absorbing and soaking up the sounds of the 60’s and 70’s that would influence the gritty, husky, heartfelt tone that you’ll find in his own work. Axel’s song writing is honest, infusing lush melodies with alternative rock and a big dose of bold pop.
His debut single ‘Shine’ was premiered by The Sun in April 2016 with a live appearance at London’s Century Club, leading to features in The Metro, OK! Magazine, The Mirror and The Huffington Post and interviews on London Live TV and ITV’s pop show ‘Scrambled’. Axel has performed at MIDEM, on the Coffee House Sessions tour, Busk The Box, I Luv Live and the LBC Summer Festival June 2016.
